Banggainese Parents' Perpectives Towards the Importance of English Language Learning. Undergraduate thesis, English Education Study Program, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Muhammadiyah Luwuk University. Under the guidance of Yuliana Mangendre, and Hardianti. This research wants to find out the Banggainese Parents' Perpectives Towards the Importance of English Language Learning. The research design was qualitative. The data were collected via interviews with ten representatives involved in audio recording. The participants of this research are 10 Banggainese parents (banggai, banggai kepualauan and banggai laut) of students at the English Education Study Program at Muhammadiyah Luwuk University. In the research the researcher found some perspectives about how important of English for the future of the children and what kind of parental involvement for the successful of their children in learning English. The conclusion of this research based on the data obtained reveals that the Banggainese Parents' Perspectives Towards the Importance of English Language Learning, are very important because English can be make the future of children better because with English can make them easy to gets job in today world especially many job vacancies available for English graduates and the involvements of parents is important in students learning process.
