Factors Effect Students Motivation in Learning English at SMP Negeri 2 Talatako. English Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Luwuk. Supervised by: Yusniati N. Sabata, and Abdul Rabbi Arrasul. This research aims determine the factors that influence the learning motivation of eighth grade students at SMP Neger 2 Talatako. This research uses a qualitative approach as a research method. The subject of this reearch requires fifty active students at Talatako 2 state middle school. This research intends to find out the factors that influence students learning motivation in learning english. In order to analyze the data,the researcher conducted interviews and took notes from the results of interviews at school as a result of this research. The researcher found that the factors that influenced students learning motivation were feeling forced,lack of undrestanding of basic english concept, unsupportive environment, forget,lack of practice in learning english. Very influential factors on students at SMP Neger 2 Talatako. Through interviews, so that researcher can find out the factors that influence students learning motivation in learning at SMP Negeri 2 Talatako.
