The aim of this research is to determine errors in pronunciation of English words and to find out the factors that influence students' pronunciation of English words. The instruments used are documentation and interviews. Participants in this research were 9 class XI students of SMA Neger 10 Pulau Taliabu. The design or type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The first dominant information is errors in pronouncing words in English and words in procedure texts. The findings showed that there were seven pronunciation errors that were most frequently made by students, namely: pronouncing the "th", pronouncing the schwa, confusing the "I" and the "r", pronouncing the short "j", confusing the "W" and the "y" pronouncing the magic "e" pronouncing silent consonant. Pronunciation errors were collected through documentation in the form of audio recordings and in-depth interviews with 9 responsive participants. Interviews are instruments that researchers use to collect information. The findings of this research are: there are six factors, namely: native language, age, motivation, exposure, innate phonetic ability, identity and language ego, motivation and concern for good pronunciation, the dominant aspects that influence the English pronunciation of class XI students of SMA Negeri 10 Pulau Taliabu.
