The Effectiveness of Presentation, Practice, Production (PPP) Method in Developing Students' Speaking Skill at MA Al-Khairaat Luwuk. Skripsi. English Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah Luwuk University. Under supervisor Abdul Rabbi Arrasul, S.Pd., M.Pd. The objective of this research is to know the effectiveness of the PPP Method of the eleventh-grade students of MA Al-khairaat Luwuk, this research used quantitative research in the form of pre-experimental research design. The population of this research is 32 students. The sample of this research is 20 students. By using the method that is clearly exposed to students, can be creative under the teacher's control, and have the confidence to display their speaking skills, which is the PPP Method, divided into three phases: Presentation, Practice, and Production. The instrument used in this research is an oral test divided into pre-test and post-test. The result showed that the mean score of pre-test was 52.35 and the mean score of post-test was 67.65. It means that there was a significant difference in developing students speaking skills through PPP Method. The result tested using t-test formula, degree of freedom (df) = 20-1 = 19. And the result of
the t-counted is higher than the t-table (9.87 > 1.72913). It showed that the hypothesis of research (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. In conclusion the PPP Method is effective to developing eleventh-grade students speaking skill at MA Al-khairaat Luwuk in 2020/2021 academic year.
