The Implementation of Communicative Language Teaching (CLI) to Improve Pupils' Speaking Ability at Prateepsat Ismail Memorial School (PIMS), Thailand. The obiective of this research is to determine whether using Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) could improve pupils' speaking ability at Prateepsat Ismail Memorial School.
The research applied quasi experimental research that required pre-test and post-test to both of groups. The research population was the second grade pupils of Prateepsat Ismail Memorial School, Thailand. The samples of this research were 2/2 as experimental class that consisted of 36 pupils and 2/1 as control class that consisted of 36 pupils. In collecting the data, the researcher used test. The test was consisted a pre-test and post-test. The data were analysed statically. After analysing, the result of the t-counted was 11.977, with degree of freedom 70 and the level of significance 0.05, the t-table is 1.666. This research using the level of significance 0.05 because it has moderate accuracy and the data was used are observational data in the environment related to social, human, etc. Therefore, the result of t-counted was higher than t-table. It means, the hypothesis of this research was acceptable. The result indicated that there was a significant effect in using Communicative Language Teaching to improve pupils' speaking ability at second grade of Prateepsat Ismail Memorial School Thailand.
