Songs to Improve the Students English Pronunciation at Eleventh Grade of SMA Neger 2 Luwuk. Undergraduate Thesis English Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Luwuk. Supervisor: Desriani Nggolaon, S.Pd, M.Pd. and Co-Supervisor: Nurhaida Lakuana, S.Pd, M.Pd. The aim of this research was find out whether songs to improve the students English pronunciation at eleventh grade of SMA Neger 2 Luwuk or not. The researcher applied quasi-experimental method. The population of this research was the eleventh grade students of SMA Neger 2 Luwuk. The participants were 34 students. The sample of this research were divided into two classes. Class XI MIPA 2 as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 3 as the control class, each class consisted of 17 students. The data were collected by pronunciation test, the researcher gave pre-test and post-test. In experimental class the score of pre-test was 40 and score of post-test was 61.17. In control class the score of pre-test was 27.05 and score of post-test was 44.70. The result of the post-test of the experimental class compared to the control class in which the t-counted (5.308)
while the t-table for degree of freedom 34 and the level of significance = 0.05 was (1.694). The researcher concludes that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It means that Songs can Improve English Pronunciation Students.
