The Use of English Short Stories Video to Enrich Students' Vocabulary at the Second Grade of SMP Negeri I Kintom. This study aims to determine whether using English short stories videos can enrich students' vocabulary, especially in class VIII A at SMP Neger 1 Kintom or not. This research an experimental study, namely a quasi experiment. This research was carried out in two classes, with a total of 48 students divided into class VIII A with 28 students as the experimental class while class VIII C with 20 students as the control class. In this study using tests as research instruments, namely pre-test and post-test. After calculating the results of the pre-test and post-test, the researcher found that the results of the pre-test in the experimental class were 24,4 and in the control class were 8,75. Meanwhile, the post-test results in the experimental class were 82,8 and in the control class were 57,7. From the results of this study, it shows that t-counted is higher than t-table. That is, the t-counted is 3,73 while the t-table is only 1,679 with a significance level of 0,05 with a degree of freedom of 46. This hypothesis is accepted, which means that using English short stories videos is effective in enriching the vocabulary of the students in class VIII A of SMP Neger 1 Kintom.
