Improving Students Reading Skills Through Dynamic Translation. English Language Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Luwuk. Supervisor Desriani Nggolaon and ST. Marhana Rullu. This study aims to see whether the dynamic translation can improve the students reading skills at SMP Islam Fathul Hikam NW or not. The design of this research is pre-experimental. The population in this research is the eighth grade students in SMP Islam Fathul Hikam NW for the academic year 2024/2025. This study used the total sampling technique, totaling 23 students. The data collection technique was testing; the researcher gave a pre-test and a post-test. The score of the pre-test was 35,8 and the post-test was 75,8. The results show that the t-counted (62,857) is higher than the t-table (1,721). Therefore, it can be said that the application of the dynamic translation can significantly improve the reading skills of the eighth grade students at SMP Fathul Hikam NW.
