YouTube Assisted Learning Video to Increase Students' Listening Skill. Undergraduate thesis. The objective of this researcher is to improve students listening skills by using YouTube-assisted learning videos. The research was conducted in 1 class with 12 students at SMP Cokroaminoto Luwuk. The method used in this researcher is a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design, namely one-group pre-test-post-test. The instruments used include listening skills tests in the form of pre-test-post-test. Before treatment, students were given a pre-test to measure their initial listening skills. Next, students are given learning material delivered via YouTube videos during several meeting sessions. After the treatment is complete, students are given a post-test to see the improvement in listening skills after learning using YouTube videos. The researcher result showed a increase in the post-test result compared to the pre-test. The research result show that the average score in the initial test is 24.16, while the average score in the final test shows 45.83 to show the hypothesis, the t-count value is 13,04, while the t-table value for degree of freedom is 11 in levels. The of 0.05 is 2.201. This shows that the hypothesis is accepted, which means students listening skills can be introduced using YouTube videos.
