The Impact of Instagram Captions on Improving Writing Skills. Undergraduate Thesis. English Education Study Program, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Muhammadiyah University of Luwuk. Supervisor Mr Abdul Rabbi Arrasul and Co-Supervisor Mrs Mukmin. This research aimed to improve the writing skills of 2nd-semester students in the English Education Study Program at the University of Muhammadyah Luwuk using Instagram captions. This research applied pre-experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test design. The research subject was the class B of 2nd-semester students, consisting of 21 students. The research was begun on February 26, 2024, and ended on March 23, 2024. The researcher used a test, a pre-test, and a post-test to collect data. As a result, the t-counted is 5.88, the degree of freedom is 20, with a significance level of 0.05, and the t-table is 1.725. It indicated that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. In other words, there is a significant improvement in using Instagram captions to improve students' writing skills for 2nd-semester students in the English Education Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Luwuk.
