Enhancing Students' Speaking Ability through Presentation Practice Production (PPP) Method . Skripsi, English Education Study Program Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Muhammadiyah University of Luwuk. Under the supervision of Yuliana Mangendre, S.Pd., MPd., and co-supervision by Abdul Rabbi Arrasul, S.Pd., M.Pd The air of this research is to find out whether using the presentation practice production method can enhance students' speaking ability at eight grade SMPN 3 Pagimana. This research used a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The population of this research was all students in SMPN 3 Pagimana, which consists of 114 students. For the sample, the researcher took eight grade students, which were divided into two classes of 40 students. Class A has 20 students and Class B has 20 students. Class A became the experimental class, and B became the control class. The researcher used tests as the instrument to get the data, which was given at pretest and posttest. The mean score of the pretest in the experimental class was 35,3, while that for the control class was 36,3. The mean score of the posttest in the experimental class was 52,6 while for the control class was 36,9 and the last computation of this researcher shows that the t-count was 7.469 was higher than t-table 2.024 with degree of freedom 38 and the level of significant 0.05 It means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. It indicates that the presentation practice production can enhance the students speaking ability.
