The Use Of Community Language Learning Method To Improve Students' Speaking Skill
The Use of Community Language Learning Method tolmprove Students' Speaking Skill. Skripsi. The aim of this research to find out whether Community Language Learning Method can improve students' speaking skill or not. This research applied quasi-experimental method. The population of this research was the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Luwuk. The participants were 42 students. The sample of this research were divided into two classes. Class XI MIPA 2 as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 3 as the control class, each class consisted of 22 students. The data werecollected by speaking test, the researcher gave pre-test and post-test. In experimental class the score of pre-test was 41,45 and score of post-test was 68,18. In control class the score of pre-test was 33,39 and score of post-test was 53,77. The result of the post-test of the experimental class compared to the control class in which the t-counted (4,764) while the t-table for degree of Ffreedom 42 and the level of significance = 0,05 was (1.682). The researcher concludes that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It means that Community Language Learning Method can improve students' speaking skill.
