This research aims to investigate and find out students' perceptions, the advantages, and the disadvantages of learning English-speaking online during the Covid-19 pandemic. It was conducted using the qualitative analysis method, as in data collecting technique the researcher adjusted two types of interview (the online interview and face-to-face interview) with the 2nd-semester students of the English Education Study Program at the Muhammadiyah University of Luwuk Banggai, there were 9 participants joined the interview, and following the Covid-19 health protocol. The result of this research has presented a series of data analyses and revealed as students' perception of learning English-speaking online during the pandemic, the advantages, and disadvantages. It found that replacement of conventional learning into online during the Covid-19 pandemic is challenging particularly for the adjustments, yet it is the best way to prevent the pandemic. In addition, the advantages are (1) flexibility (2) providing opportunities (3) increasing students' confidence (4) increasing students' confidence (5) effectiveness to prevent the pandemic, and the disadvantages are (1) lack of interaction (2) more difficult (3) different interpretation.
