An Analysis on Students Problems in Writing Procedure Text. Skripsi. English Education, Muhammadiyah Luwuk University. Under the Supervisor and Co-supervisor of Yuliana Mangendre, S.Pd., M.Pd and Desriani Nggolaon S.Pd., M.Pd The objectives of this research were to know the students problems in writing procedure text. The research was conducted at the ninth grade of SMPN 2 Bunta in the Academic Year 2010/2021. In this research, the researcher took one class (IXA) as the subject. The class consisted of 25 students. This research was presented using the descriptive qualitative method. The instrument used to collect the data is a written test and questionnaire. The result showed that there were four aspects of the problem faced by students in writing procedure text such as: content 12%, organization 0%, grammar 80%, vocabulary 64%. It means that, the most dominant problem in writing procedure text is grammar. Besides that, the causes of students' problems in writing procedure text are grammatical weakness, knowledge and understanding, less practice, and educational background.
