Building children interest in learning English through Fun Learning Method. Undergraduate Thesis, English Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Luwuk.
Supervised by; Desriani Nggolaon and Mukmin. The aim of this study is to find out whether the uses of fun learning method build the children interest in learning English or not. This research uses the quantitative data. To collect data, the researcher used questionnaire. This research was carried out in Bunta village-, Bunta 2 sub-district. The samples were children aged around 7-9 years old. In this study, the researcher taught English to children in order to build their interest in learning English. Therefore, this research can be concluded that the alternative hypotheses is accepted, if the result of questionnaire >50%. The result of this questionnaire indicates that children interest in learning English is high which means the total percentage for the overall indicator the children individual interest obtained 63.58%. It's means that the use of fun learning method can build children interest in learning English.
