An Analysis of Students' Diffculties in Reading Report Text at SMA Negeri I Luwuk. Skripsi. English Education Study Programme, Teacher Training and Education Faculty Muhammadiyah University of Luwuk. Supervisor: Yuliana Mangendre, S.Pd. M.Pd. Co supervisor: ST. Marhana Rullu, S.Pd.I., M.Pd. This study aims to find out what difficulties are experienced by students during the reading report text, especially at SMA Neger 1 Luwuk. This research is a qualitative research. The subject of research was the eleventh grade students of SMA Neger 1 Luwuk. The techniques of collecting the data are test and interview. This data collection involved 10 students of SMA Neger 1 Luwuk. The researcher presents the data from the students difficulties in reading report text. The result of this study shows that there are 12,28% students who have difficulties in understanding to look the main idea. Then, there are 26,31% students who have difficulties in understanding vocabulary. Then, there are 38,56% students who have difficulties in understanding making inference. Next, there are 22,80% students who have difficulties in understanding to look for the detail information. The factor of causing the students difficulties comprehending report text there are learner's background, teaching technique and learners' environment.
